The wait is finally over! India's most popular vlogger, Sourav Joshi, has officially embarked on his first major trip after marriage. The destination? The "Paradise on Earth"—Kashmir.
In his latest vlog, titled "Ye Kaha Pohoch Gaye 😍 Shadi K Baad," Sourav takes his viewers from the chaotic packing sessions in Delhi to the serene, snow-covered heights of Gulmarg.
🎒 The Packing Paradox: Small Bag vs. Large Bag
Every trip begins with the classic struggle of packing. The vlog kicks off with a humorous moment where Sourav compares his own compact travel bag to Avantika’s massive suitcase.
The luggage situation became so intense that the group had to make a last-minute change to their travel plans. Initially set to take a GLC, the team—including Piyush, Sahil, and Avantika—switched to the G-Wagon simply to fit all their bags! After a quick dinner and ice cream at a Delhi mall, the family spent the night at their Delhi residence before catching an early flight.
❄️ Touching Down in Srinagar
The excitement was palpable as the group landed at Srinagar Airport. For Sourav and some of his friends, this was their first time experiencing the beauty of Kashmir. After a scenic drive through the valley and a delicious local lunch stop, the landscape began to transform from green to a pure, brilliant white.
🏨 Checking Into Luxury: The Khyber, Gulmarg
Upon reaching Gulmarg, the group checked into one of India’s most iconic and highly-rated hotels—The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa.
- The Snow Blanket: The entire hotel was covered in a thick layer of fresh snow, creating a picture-perfect winter wonderland.
- The View: Sourav showed off the breathtaking views from their room, where the mountains meet the clouds.
- The Heated Pool: One of the highlights was the hotel's famous heated indoor pool. While the group planned for an evening dip, they found it a bit too crowded with kids and decided to skip it for the night.
🍽️ A Royal Dinner to End the Day
Instead of the pool, the family focused on the food! They enjoyed a lavish dinner featuring a variety of Kashmiri delicacies and sweets. The vlog captured the warmth of family time amidst the freezing temperatures outside.
Sourav concluded the day with a teaser for the next vlog, promising high-octane adventures in the snow, including various rides and activities that Gulmarg is famous for.
